Dr. Dagmar Borcic is a board certified Doctor of Audiology. She received her board of certification from the American Board of Audiology and earned the doctorate of audiology from the Arizona State of Health Sciences in 2005. Dr. Borcic is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Colorado, a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and a member of the Colorado Academy of Audiology. Dr. Borcic has been practicing audiology for over 20 years and her experience includes hospital, clinical, manufacturing, and business ownership.

Karen McDaniel is the director and owner of Cornerstone Hearing Center and has been in the hearing industry for 18 years. Prior to opening her own practice, she was instrumental in helping to build a hearing practice through doctor, patient, and community contacts.
Her experience in patient care and marketing has enabled her and her fellow staff members to provide all the patients at Cornerstone Hearing an opportunity for an enhanced quality of life. Karen is continuing to take educational classes through a variety of manufacturers to keep up with the latest technology in the industry and patient care.
In addition to her work at Cornerstone Hearing, Karen is also the volunteer women’s ministry coordinator at their home church and on the Board of Directors of Prayer Sisters International. Additionally, Karen and her husband were a part of the founding families who opened Core Knowledge Charter School in Parker, Colorado.
Giving back to the community is very important to Karen and her staff, which is why each year they volunteer their time with the 9 News Health Fairs.
Karen and her husband Barry, of 32 years, have 3 grown children and have lived in Franktown, Colorado for the past 20 years. As a family, they enjoy family nights and card playing, outdoors, church activities, golf and yearly trips to Florida, where Barry and Karen grew up. This is where they can enjoy all the aspects of ocean living as their get-a-way.
Kaitlin Doherty is our patient care coordinator and billing specialist. She is the person you can talk to about hearing aid benefits through your insurance or any other customer service question you may have. Kaitlin has been working at Cornerstone since October of 2010. You may think she looks like another one of our staff members..and you would be correct she is Karen McDaniel’s daughter. She currently is going to school for her bachelors in Aviation Technology.
Community Outreach
Cornerstone Hearing Centers participates yearly in the 9 Health Fairs that surround our community. We also volunteer at church health fairs throughout the year as well as school outreach programs. This allows us to give back to the community that has been supportive of us over the years.
